User Benefits
This enables users to both create their product offerings and to customize them for their end-users as market requirements dictate. Even though TrueOMF can be used to create applications in any space, customers who are looking to build frameworks in the areas of Service Management, Policy Control Engines, and Carrier Service Orchestration will benefit tremendously using the rich feature set and the pre-build Object packages of TrueOMF. This allows users who are in need of collaborative frameworks to focus on integrating their business components and other external programs instead of writing a framework. It also allows them to cut short their development process or integration process. TrueBaseline provides an application-authoring service to our customers to enable them to get to market faster.
Structured Approach
In essence, what makes TrueOMF a unique and adaptable expert authoring system is its structured approach to engineering any collaborate framework or application.
Solution Domains are build using prepackaged objects and Object Packages available in TrueOMF. Each of these Solution Domains interact either with each other via SOAP messages or with the external environment via Event Sockets and Event Plugs. When one or more Solution Domains are packaged together to solve business functionality, it is called a Message Exchange Framework (MEF). An MEF essentially acts like a black box and accepts input via Event Sockets and sends output/invoke to neighboring MEFs or external applications via Event Plugs. An Event Socket is an event proxy that receives an external event into a Solution Domain and invokes necessary actions within that Solution Domain via Functional Objects. A SOAP message event handler is provided as a default socket to all MEFs. Other types of Event Sockets for various protocols, including Directory protocols like DNS, UDDI, and so on, will be made available as various Solution Domains and MEFs are built. Several MEFs can be assembled together and customized to create an application. SOA Comply and ViSPA are such applications.
